Clerks III

I'm excited about a third film from Smith, I love the first two Clerks movies.

But what's with the hate on Red State? I loved Red State! It's unlike anything anyone's seen filmmaking-wise and if he were given more money it could've been a badass ending that could've sparked his career...but even so it's a good movie that I think most people hated because it was so different. I watched it twice and I haven't seen anything wrong with it.

Oh well, at least he'll go out screaming.

Fuck that. Red State was really good. It stands as a singular film in his career, proving he's not just a good writer but, finally, a filmmaker that embraces the medium's visual nature and isn't just making radio plays with realtime illustrations featuring live humans.
