    Horror TV

Forgive me if there's already a thread on this but I couldn't find it.

This thread is all about horror TV, sure Tales From The Crypt probably deserves its own thread but for the smaller, less talked about series I figured this could be a good spot to contain that discussion. Talk on!

Has anyone seen the 90s series from the UK called CHILLER? I just reviewed the DVD set that Synapse put out in the states if anyone wants to check it out - http://celluloidterror.blogspot.com/...vd-review.html

Weird that it only had 5 episodes.

Haven't seen Chiller, but it looks really interesting.

I have Hammer House of Horror on backorder at DD, can't wait to watch it! Been hearing great things.

Any fans of Werewolf, the Fox series from the late 80s? I remember watching it and loving it as a kid. I recently came across the show again and watched about half the episodes. Not as good as I remembered it, naturally, but still a pretty good program.

Whilst not strictly 'horror', Lars Von Trier's Riget (The Kingdom) is highly recommended for anyone looking for something a bit bizarre.

    Intro:

    Season 1, Episode 1:

Truly excellent work, it was also the inspiration for Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital.

Their database is down right now but when watchseries.eu comes back online (fingers crossed) they have links to streams of every episode.

I've been interested in checking out the Monster Squad series since hearing about it recently. Does it have any connection to the film?

Just a few posts in this thread and I'm already reminded of how great horror tv has been. Even for kids... things like Are You Afraid Of The Dark? and the Goosebumps series were pure 90s awesomeness.

People fear death even more than pain. It's strange that they fear death. Life hurts a lot more than death. At the point of death, the pain is over. Yeah, I guess it is a friend.

Night Visions was a short-lived mythology show hosted by Henry Rollins. Only 13 episodes were produced, but it's one of the better made horror shows.

Wow, I can't believe this doesn't look the least bit familiar to me. I need to check this out eventually.

I never watched that much horror TV aside from Tales from the Crypt. Never saw Friday the 13th: The Series or Freddy's Nightmares or anything like that. I heard none of those were very good anyway.

I loved Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I'd never guess how good the show would be after the crappy movie. I used to drool over the Cordelia character on that show (she was played by Charisma Carpenter, who played Jason Staitham's girlfriend in the first Expendables).

I didn't mind the Buffy movie that much. Haven't seen it in forever though. I've heard the show is good, but I've only seen a couple episodes.
