After what felt like forever, I finally got the opportunity to see this. As a big fan of the first and a hardcore action fan, I say The Raid 2 is the best movie I've seen. I found the characters all interesting, the plot intriguing and well thought out, and most of all the absolute best action I've seen in anything. Seriously the final kitchen fight is an insanely choreographed masterpiece. Also it has an incredibly filmed unique car chase that puts nearly all other before it to shame. I can't give this movie enough praise, go see it like right now. 10/10 seeing it again in a few days.

As much as I loved the first Raid, they really blew it away with this sequel. Nearly non-stop action, basically EVERY fight scene was glorious and the blood/gore was excellent. All I wanted to do after watching the movie was watch it all over again. Clearly one of the best action/martial arts movie I've seen in years and definitely one of my fav. movies of all time. Bring on part 3

It's hitting Bluray on July 8th it say's its rated R but i'm hearing that it should still be the same as what everyone see in the theatre's if not with barely any editing done really enjoyed the hell out of it enough to get it.

Yeah there are supposedly like 10 seconds cut from certain bloody scenes to secure the R-rating. It's really nothing big and considering how gory it is already it's barely noticeable.
