I liked V/H/S. Loved Cabin in the Woods. Really want to see The Collection (I really liked The Collector).

As far as the worst, I don't know. I didn't see anything everybody says is the worst. I skipped ATM, Smiley, etc.

Pacific Rim is my most anticipated. Sure, it has tons of CGI, but I don't know if you could do it otherwise... Hollywood sure wouldn't. I do love Robot Jox though and men-in-suits giant monster movies, but Pacific Rim looks outstanding.

Didn't see much horror this year but what I did see wasn't that impressive. 2012 was pretty poor for the genre.

I though it was a very fun sequel. Obviously not as great as Aja's film (one of my favorite modern American horror flicks), but still worth watching.

It was painful for me. The cow fart jokes and all the obvious gross-out stupid stuff... the piranha in the guy's ass. It was just boring. Obviously nowhere near Aja's film. I kinda like the Ving Rhames bit, but it wasn't for me. I'm really surprised they could mess it up too.

Yeah, I prefer the horror be first. Horror comedies are really hard to pull off.

The remake did have a lot of laughs (I loved Eli Roth's cameo), and it was good, but they also played it serious sometimes too. And it wasn't just stupid crap. It was pretty smart for what it was.
