In the mid to late 90's, the Reykjavik crime and drug scene saw a drastic change from a relatively small and innocent world into a much more aggressive and violent one.. The film tells the story of this change through the fictional gang of pushers that took control of Iceland's underworld.

After spending a night in the cells for a violent encounter, a young guy called Stebbi bumps into an old school friend Tóti . The latter is now a gangster and he invites Stebbi into his world. Things become more complicated, however, when they join forces with a psychotic gangster called Bruno. They take over the territory of the old-guard and set up a complex drug trafficking system but things begin to spiral out of control.

The story has been done before. It is fucking brutal! The bad guy Bruno is fucking insane. All done before BUT it's in Iceland...the backrounds are amazing! They add to the brilliance of this crime film.....and I love this saying...as they role the actors in this film it come to a part that you've probally seen before....'' I saw this weeks back, but decided not to post about it. I liked it, but felt it didn't steer far enough from the norm to warrant a recommend from me. It's not a bad film or anything, it's just basically your standard crime film that we've seen countless times. The only difference in this case is its country of origin. Either way, if you can look passed the stereotypes and predictability, it's still an enjoyable pic. I'd give it a 7/10
