Yeah, I love these.

As far as horror:
Battle Royale (bloody and brutal with a lot of murder so I think this can be classified as horror, probably survival horror... no matter what, it's a masterpiece... I'd stay away from the director's cut though and just watch the theatrical)
Versus (where the fuck is the sequel that the director talked about forever? technically, this actually is a sequel to Down to Hell... that's how it came about anyway)

Ringu 0: Birthday (it's awesome and doesn't get anywhere near the attention or credit it deserves... I actually like it better than Ringu)

I just saw Gozu yesterday. Not really sure if it is horror or not. Was a really good, weird film, but not in the horror genre for me.

A Tale of Two Sisters, Ju-On all three, Audition, Dark Water, Shutter, Gozu, Visitor Q, all three Tetsuo films, Haze, The Ring series, Reincarnation, Cure, there's so many. Pretty much any type of japanese horror/ghost/whatever reaction period films.

I've always been puzzled about just what meat is used in a number 93 from my local Chinese takeaway, they're meant to be pork dumplings but they don't taste like any pork I've ever had.

They're bloody delicious though!

Tetsuo: The Iron Man

Tetsuo III: The Bullet Man




The first two are great, the third one less so, but still worth a look.

I just saw all 3 this week. Tetsuo 1: The Iron Man is 10/10. Absolutely brilliant!
I liked 3 more than 2. I give both of those a 7/10 though.

Awesome! Thank you for the older recommendations! That's what I was looking for. I have seen quite a few of the more modern asian horror films, but not so much the older stuff. That's what I'm truly interested in. Hopefully I can find a few of these films and check them out!
