The I love / hate this film ~ and everyone else seems to feel exactly the opposite.

I've since read a review of the picture that puts how the film deals with the characters (or doesn't) as well as the multiple murderers into historical perspective but, like you, I was not impressed when I saw it. Just really dull and low quality was my impression. Truthfully, I think people throw the word "master" around a little too freely when it comes to the Italians in general, for this genre at least.

I like Death Proof...the end car chase makes it worthwhile , Friday the 13th (remake)...better anything after Part 4, Black Xmas(remake)....Ghosts of Mars....Space Western

I dislike The Ring (Japanese + American) boring and dull, there have been better ghost stories, Shaun of the Dead...unfunny and insulting, The Stepfather...Terry O'Quinn was great,but that doesn't excuse lazy story telling. The Shining...Nickolson was awesome, the book was better.
