I still don't get why PS4 and XBone's are trying to focus on 4k. I keep waiting for some kind of update telling me that Sony and MS decided to remove their heads from their assholes and have decided to focus on other things than 4k, since its rather pointless.

I agree about 4k especially since they are still very expensive, in Canada anyhow. I'd like to see them focus on more memory, maybe a more powerful gpu so it's more like PC.

They're actually pretty cheap here in America. And last time i went to Walmart to get a TV, its all they had.
The problem i have with 4k is it actually exceeds the number of cones you have in your eye, which means only people with above "perfect" vision can notice a difference at like 3 feet or beyond... which is like 5% of the population. And when in motion, its almost completely lost. It makes a bit more sense on PC, but not much.
As video cards and differently shaped monitors have demonstrated, there are many different ways to improve visuals in a way that actually matter.

PlayStation Now subscribers will have the option of downloading PlayStation 4 and remastered PlayStation 2 games in the service’s library, Sony announced today. The capability will be rolled out over the next couple of days.
“Almost all PS4 games in the service” are downloadable, according to the announcement, without specifying which ones or types are not. Downloaded games will also support all user-purchased DLC and microtransactions as well as PS4 Pro enhancements, and online multiplayer does not require a PlayStation Plus subscription — as is the case with games streamed over PlayStation Now.
A PS4 system with downloaded games from PS Now will still need to connect to the Internet “every few days” to verify the user’s subscription, PlayStation added.
Users who have already streamed a game and now wish to download it may transfer their save files from the cloud to their consoles, provided they also have a PlayStation Plus membership.

Although Dead by Daylight is far superior with amazing dev support, Friday the 13th is free on PSN starting today thru the rest of October!
The game has been doomed because of the lawsuit but having it for free now is a now brainer for horror fans to play this troubled release.

One of the free PSN Plus games this month is the Nathan Drake Collection which contains the first 3 Uncharted games! This can't be passed up if you own a PS4, even if you have played through them already. These are some of the best games ever within this genre and can't be missed if you have not yet played them!

So, uh, don't update your PS4 to 8.0.0 if you can. Apparently it's bricking people's consoles and completely ruined party systems. Loads of people are complaining about it.
