Even though this film has been done time and time again in recent years, most notably with such big budget fare as The Hunger Games this whole death game sub sub subgenre is showing no signs of running out of steam. I don't mind - I enjoyed it and prefer these exploitative pscho horror's to the glut of remakes that are perpetually being released. Anyway, it's an interesting and enjoyable film. Jeffrey Combs is fucking superb as the gamesmaster and everyone else is fine in their roles, which, considering its cheapie roots is very impressive. The only qualm I have was a massive plothole whereby Sasha Grey was held underwater and expired within 4 minutes. I've seen a video of her and 6 big black men where she appeared to hold her breath for about twenty minutes before they offloaded onto her face. Poor research!

Overall it was a decent watch.

I'm torn between ignoring this from how generic it looks, but renting it on demand immediately because of Jeffrey Combs... Man I hope it's worth it, probably catch it my next night off.
