Jackie Chan and Wesley Snipes are the latest to reportedly join the cast of the upcoming sequel. Stallone also expressed interest in having Mel Gibson direct the film, although that's obviously far from a reality right now. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is also interested in a role, but aside from interest, there's nothing official. There's another rumor about Nic Cage joining the cast Either way, I'm glad to see Wesley Snipes back in action after having recently been released from prison

Apparently Stallone has chosen Aussie director Patrick Hughes (Red Hill) to go behind the camera for this third installment. It's not official by the studio yet, but that's the word as of late. Not an entirely bad choice, as Red Hill is a good underrated indie film, but I dunno how well the guy will hold up with a bigger budgeted action pic Filming is aimed to begin sometime in August.

Because Wesley is in fact a fantastic actor? I don't think any of them is a disaster nor the apex of acting. And these action movies, the last thing they pretend is to highlight these attributes, it is just fun, action and a little more..

He should definitely try to get Mel Gibson, and Harrison Ford. And ya know what, they oughtta throw Sigourney Weaver in there with them!
