Wow. This whole thing is not sitting well with me. I'm gonna pass on this one.

You know what? Even though I'd be pissing off comic book fans for saying this, but I'm honestly interested in this idea. I'm all for doing some kind of changes to Spiderman to make him interesting. Honestly if hardcore Spider-man fans want their hardcore Spider-Man, you have the Raimi movies to go back to. For this, even if it may not work for some people, I honestly think this is a GREAT and fresh idea rather than remaking Peter to keep him as a teenager as if there was some silly time-loop.

The reboot just turned Parker into a creepy craiglist stalker. Looking for long blonde haired men and having his way with them. Not heroic at all.

New trailer shows 90% of the movie. 3 Villains: Rhino, Green Goblin, and Electro. It looks to be some sort of setup for a Sinister 6 film in the future. The acting (especially Harry Osbourne) looks unbelievably bad, though that sequence with Electro at the end of the trailer looks awesome. I still havent seen the first one but this looks to be a little more thought out than the previous one and might be worth checking out since it's a Spidey story we havent seen on the big screen yet.

Spiderman lookin pretty good. I personally like the Electro look in this movie over the original comic book version. No way that cartoony look could work in live action. Dunno how I feel about Rhino just being a giant Mech but eh, I'm sure it'll end up cool. I do like Mechs. Only one that really bothers me is Green Goblin. You can barely see him in this trailer but he does kinda remind of what Sam Raimi tried to do with Goblin and I hated that look. I just hope he looks better than I'm expecting.

And it was very cool seeing the Vulture and Doc Ock outfits, but I never did car for the storyline in Ultimate Spiderman (clearly where this storyline is coming from) that all the villains are Oscorp based. They kind of just throw them all out there instead of giving them a story. But eh, may still end up being a fun action flick. I do like the idea of the Sinister Six showing up eventually. Would be a nice excuse to throw Venom in there. I know he was eventually a member, but an uneasy alliance with an anti-hero to fight them off would be fun to watch.

This movie looks terrible, electro looks like Mr. Freeze, Harry Osbourne looks like Peter Parker after he was possessed by Venom in Spider-Man 3, looks like a girl. It's kinda cool that Rhino has some kind of battle mech thing. This film looks worse than Amazing Spider-Man

The first one was really good so I will be seeing this too, but not in theater. I thought the ending to that trailer with Electrode looked like something out of a video game, but the rest of the trailer looked pretty cool. I don't know why these types of films try to cram as many villains as possible into two hours (which I'm assuming will be how long the new one is). Make it an hour and a half and add one villain and introduce another one in the end to anticipate for a third film. Three villains is way too much. I don't see these films for acting by any means so it doesn't bother me too much, it is a comic book film after all.

My feelings exactly. This looks like a perfect popcorn action/superhero flick that probably won't disappoint when it comes to keeping its audience entertained. I will most likely take my son to see this as he loves Spider Man.

The only reason Jamie Fox is doing this is because he was kicked out of The Blue Man Group because of unsubstantiated rumors of Rampart Drug Use....good thing he had a backup plan
