What was the first Horror movie you ever watched?

With that said....

My first horror movie was Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981). I was about 5 or so, and I went to stay with my uncle for the weekend. He took me to the local video warehouse, and asked me to pick out a movie. I went straight to the Horror section... ...I picked out Friday the 13th: Part 2 (1981). I remember it freaked me out as a kid. The scene with the cop driving down a dirt road and Jason running across it, stuck with me for awhile.

What about you? What was the first Horror movie you saw?

Can't remember. It was probably on tv. First horror movie I remember seeing in the theatres is Alien 3. (Alien 3 rocks, screw the haters..)

Are you kidding the first horror film ? Well, I can remember watching all those Twilight Zone episodes st they came out along with One Step Beyond. My first horror film would have probably been Frankenstein

A Nightmare On Elm Street series when I was really little. My babysitter watched the films all the time. I never liked taking a nap when I was supposed to, this definitely reassured me that I should not take a nap. Lol.

The one's I remember as a child are Child's Play, NOTLD, Pumpkinhead, and Poltergeist. So I'm guessing one of these were my first? I was terrified of Chucky so I think Child's Play may have been it.

I'm much the same Nik, I don't remember the first but a mash of Friday the 13ths, Nightmare on Elms, Childsplay, and Psycho alowas a fan ng with JAWS stand in my mind. More importantly (IMO) was that my grandmother was a fan of horror and passed the love onto me and my siblings/cousins.

So if I had to call out ONE film that made an impression I'd say the one that made the biggest impression, which was honestly Creepshow, it may not have been the first but the first time I saw it I had the bejesus scared out of me.
