Synopsis:

Sandra Bullock plays Dr. Ryan Stone, a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (George Clooney) in command of his last flight before retiring. But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone–tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.
GRAVITY is in theaters on October 4th, 2013.

Big fan of the directors previous flick Children of Men, and I'm really looking forward into seeing this on the big screen. I love space flicks, even when they're about one of my biggest fears, the thought of floating through space doomed to some horrid fate is terrifying. Not a big fan of Bullhorn but under this directors supervision and with a good script I'm sure Bullhuck will do fine.:elstare:

Definitely looking forward to this film. Watched Children of Men for the first time recently and loved it.

Seen it this afternoon. I really liked it a lot. It may be only 90 minutes, but it's a very tense white knuckle 90 minute ride.

It's visually stunning, and should been seen on the big screen, and in 3D if possible.
I was with my parents and my dad gets headaches from 3D glasses so we had to settle for the digital, but still impressive none the less.

The plot is pretty thin, simple, and completely straight forward - survive.
For so simplistic a story as Gravity really is .... it more than delivers on all levels.

Cuoran was a class act at the Golden Globes, thanking VFX supervisor Tim Webber in his acceptance speech. He's been on the record, unlike that ignorant prick Ang Lee with Life of Pi, that his film wouldn't exist without the animators and digital artists whose work makes up an overwhelming majority of what you see on screen.
