Punk's Dead

Looks like in 2014 we will see a sequel to the 1998 film SLC Punk called Punk's Dead. Most of the original cast will be back since this is supposed to take place long after the first film ends.

Personally I was a bit "too old" when I watched the original. To me it can off naive, unrealistic, and frankly dumb. But seeing as how the director is looking for a more mature storyline it may be worth a shot.

I actually really liked the first, but I'm a fan of Iillard's. Of course I grew up a "punk" in a small town where there wasn't much out of the ordinary, so that movie had a lot to say to me. I'm happy to hear a new one will be done.

I came from a similar background to yours Wallen. Just kind of irked me that I was more about big change and totally reinventing the system. It seemed like all the characters were into was destroying everything they could with no rhyme or reason. The only part I remember liking was the order vs. chaos debate because it was the only time I could really relate to them (but then again they kind of made me agree with a hippy )

love the first one, and I really miss seeing Matthew Lillard (cereal killer from hackers is still one of the greatest characters ever) I'm real excited for this.
