Leprechaun Remake

I'm kind of confused by this movie. I thought, based on their casting choice, that they would be going with a far more comedic reboot.. but the trailer leads me to believe that this will be a more serious endeavor than the original. I'll probably end up giving this a watch, though I share lamenting the fact that Warwick Davis is not in this.

He does just growl a lot, but he's in it quite a bit actually. They just don't show him fully, we mostly get glimpses of his body, but there are some clear shots of his silly looking face

Yeah, I watched it last night. It was alright at best. It's not the worst and not the best. It's really more of a Creature Feature than a Leprechaun movie.

It's a time waster. At least the leprechaun isn't cgi (of what I saw), but it still looks like shit. I highly doubt they used real Irish actors because the accents were BAD. The opening shot of the Irish countryside was good, though. Not that this film had any kind of atmosphere, because it didn't. It's about as cliched as you can get.
