    (Sweden) Easy Money III (2013)

I had no idea they were making a third film to wrap up everything as a trilogy, but it's got a release set for August in its home country of Sweden. For those unfamiliar with the films you can read my thoughts on the first here and the second here, but simply put, this is probably the best crime trilogy I've seen since the Pusher films, only not as gritty and with a bigger budget. Though, much like the Pusher trilogy, the films follow characters that were featured or introduced in the first and are expanded on in each sequel. This third installment looks to wrap up all the storylines that were left open.

JW now lives in exile and is more than ever determined to find out what happened to his missing sister Camilla. Every trace leads him to the world of organized crime in Stockholm. Jorge is about to do his last score - the largest robbery in Swedish history. But during the complicated preparations he meets a woman from his past - Nadja. Martin Hägerström is chosen to go undercover into the Serbian mafia, in order to get its notorious boss Radovan Krajnic behind bars. When an assassination attempt is made on Radovan, his daughter Natalie is pulled into the power struggle within the Serbian mafia.

This looks pretty damn good and I hear it's an improvement over the sequel, which fans and critics found good, but slightly disappointing (myself included). Like I said above, if you've seen the Pusher trilogy or like great crime/thrillers I'd recommend giving the Easy Money series a check. This is a great opportunity to get caught up with the first two in time to catch the 3rd whenever it becomes available as well

We need more good Swedish films out there. The Swedish friends I talk to keep telling me their cinema is not all that great. So it's nice to see a few sticking out of the woodwork.

Finally caught this film earlier, despite having questionable subs. Good flick and a nice wrap-up of all the character storylines. Was a little disappointed that Joel Kinnaman's character was barely in it, but aside from that I enjoyed it. Good action and pacing, while the story seemed a bit thinner than the previous flicks. Either way, it's definitely a solid pic and final entry in the Easy Money trilogy. 7/10

I bet your Swedish friends don't even watch Swedish films. I know that if I go to my local cinema, it would be extremely rare to see an Aussie film playing. Hell, they show more Indian films than Aussie films (Dhoom 2.. not the sequel to Doom). Unless you go to one of those arthouse independent theatres, of which there aren't many around.

    (Sweden) Easy Money III (2013)

Oooh! I was just thinking about Part III the other day. Just finished watching part II again to catch up. I heard that Joel K. Part is minimal and that sucks because he was really good. Will be downloading
    this weekend

Yeah, he's barely even in the movie, to be honest. Regardless, he still plays an important part in the overall story.
