Superman Vs Batman Is Coming In 2015

I find it interesting that DC cannot get their movies right.
The Dark Knight seems to be the only quality series and the rest of it seems to be trash.
I also dont know why they keep trying superman. Superman is outdated as shit... hes like Kobe... just fucking retire already.
Zach Snyder is a shit director... he's the comic worlds version of Michael Bay and just like Bay, he needs to be stopped. After spending over 40 fucking dollars to go see this shit fest movie, we ended up going out to my car for some drugs and fun for about half an hour. We decided to go back in and despite missing half an hour, due to the massive lack of information and story to begin with, it just seemed normal.

I will say that its funny Marvel gets the movies right, but cant do cartoon movies.
While DC cant do movies, but actually does great cartoon movies.

I have a few more hours before I see BvS so I'll hold judgement on that for now, but even just getting their characters on screen Marvel is crushing it.

I'm not saying that this is a good thing or bad thing, but in the rhelm of "getting shit out" Marvel is WAY ahead of the game.

Though on the Animated side I am also 100% with you. DC's animated films are some of my favorite superhero media ever made, they are leaps and bounds ahead of Marvel.

I actually enjoyed Man of Steel and was really looking forward to this movie, but unfortunately it just wasn't that good. A couple of good fight scenes but except for Batmans warehouse rescue they felt rushed. WW and Batman were the definite highlights but whenever the focus shifted away from Batman the movie just dragged. I think the most positive thing I can say about it is when I left the movie I felt more excited for the solo WW and Batman movies, but DC needs to cut Snyder loose and find a better director and I say that liking most of Snyders previous works.

Wonder Woman was awesome, I'm really looking forward to her stand alone movie.
Batfleck was good The one Batman scene (if you've seen the movie you know which one I'm talking about) was some of the best "Batmanning" ever shown.
Luthor was fucking terrible...I mean beyond terrible I cringed everytime I saw him on screen. I hated Eisenberg's performance. I could write an essay on how he fucked up Luthor but I'll just say that he was the worst part of the movie.

the Flash, Aquaman, and cyborg "appearances" were fucking embarrassing. Hey everyone! It's DC here, look at the great characters we're not putting in this movie! But you can probably see them in future films, also here's a time traveling flash in a weird helmet...I think. Fucking hell that was sad.

The plot was a complete mess, the directing was piss poor at best and atrocious at worst. There were some brilliant shots (think Wonder Woman in the trailers) but the rest of the time I'm left wondering wtf any of the nonsense has to do with the story.

This movie really felt like 3 movies (that could have been good) jammed together to save time and being left with a poorly edited incoherent mess.

It wasn't "Green Lantern" bad...but it was certainly worse than Man of Steel (which I watched again last night). In the world of Superhero movies, I'd put this somewhere around X-men: Last Stand in terms of overall quality.

Edit...actually, maybe the first Wolverine Movie...not Last Stand, I forgot about that one.

Everyone's jumping on the hate bandwagon, it seems. I've read all the spoilers, and the movie sounds awesome to me. Don't get a lot of these criticisms. It's just currently trendy and hip to hate on DC, I suppose.

Or DC feels the need to be as ambitious as marvel without the slow build up they accomplished and instead decides to do one movie that is some how supposed to encompass like four different graphic novels that all require their own 2 1/2 explanation and without it, one would be lost. Then to make things even worse they do manage to combine all these stories into one but to keep a pg-13 rating and to make it less then 3 hours, apparently 30-40 minutes of content was removed and apparently this was content that told the actual story.
Then again, maybe its just "trendy" to dislike movies that cut so much content out that you might as well be watching cut scene's from a video game and that is of course bad because its trendy. So people, stop complaining about the 20-40 dollars you spent and being honest about the film, because youre being trendy.

You should have known that going in that 30 mins were cut out.. Snyder also did that with Watchmen and Sucker Punch (and many other movies have 'extended editions' also).

I'm glad they didn't go the Marvel route also. If they did then everybody would be bitching that they're copying Marvel. But I guess you just can't please some people.

I'll only pull my comic fan card out once here and say, seriously, fuck this Lex Luthor. I dreaded the announcement of Eisenberg's casting since day one because I thought he couldn't be anything like Lex and my presumption was true. This Luthor just fucking sucks, man.

I can see why some people hated him as Luthor but I thought he did.....great so to say. You can't technically blame him for the way the character IS WRITTEN, he only acted it out. He blended the weirdness, creepiness, and blliance well with one another......considering his age, it wasn't anything out of the norm as this was a younger Luthor. Even though I have to admit, I did want to see a more mature and "stronger" Lex Luthor on screen, which I think Eisenberg could have played, because this really showed his strength as an actor. I don't really blame him as I do the writers for writing such a weird Lex....
