Even actors who juice, must train their asses off. People think that just because you take performance enhancing drugs that you will completely blow up over night. The fact is that you need to train even harder to keep up the gains. Even with juicing, I don't think Affleck could get that big, that quickly. Dwayne Johnson always updates his Facebook with pictures of him training. He is a very dedicated dude. Honestly though, if he was juicing I'd be surprised. He always preaches about dedication and talks about natural workouts. He could just be extremely gifted, the man was an athlete his entire life.

Last couple films with The Rock, where's he's just crazy big, it's not round, water-filled muscle. He's maybe the only huge actor I have much faith in as far as maybe believing the size is as natural as he says (and it's certainly not overnight with him, we've all seen him building over the years). Everything I've read or seen on him or heard of him he's a class act. It doesn't bother me when someone uses roids or hormone replacement, I just want them to not lie about it. I have more respect for folks that use this stuff than cosmetic surgery.

It's standard for any actor requiring a certain body type to have six to eight months prep, tuned to peak on the days they'll be shirtless. You're right, juiced or not it's a lot of work. The enhancements are strictly for a shortcut to size but folks have finally learned that quality looks better than size on a leading man and for that it means crazy stuff like knowing the days they'll be shirtless so that techniques for dehydration can be timed and, like I always suspected, between takes they're doing stuff like push-ups or reps with barbells.

How you see an ultra-fit actor in film is almost like hellish, analog Photoshopping because they look that way for a very, extremely, finite period.

I've said this once,I've said it a hundred times and godmanit I'll say it again.Snyder got bullied out of his own movie.WB wants to stop playing catch up with Marvel and actually start throwing some hard hits and rack in serious cash.They can't afford to play it slow anymore with the subtle JL jabs and cockteases in Superman movies.They NEED a Justice Leauge movie and they need it 2 year a go.This movie is basiclly just gonna be a testing ground for the JL movie.It won't give Superman any actual character develepoment because it will deal with the bigger picture.The money maker,Justice Leauge.

on a side note,altough I'm still not 100% sold on Batfleck he looks pretty damn sweet in the Batsuit...and Batmobile looks fucking awesome.

This is basiclly what I'm aiming at.They tried the slow start and figure out things along the way approach but MoS didn't perfom as it was expected of him and now they gotta speed things up since the poster boy didn't get the job done.So now they're sending the guaranteed money maker,Bats.Everyone else in this is just there to enjoy the ride because this is now Batman's movie.

superman made more money on opening day than any of the "franchise beginners". And made plenty of money. What they're going to do is "oh shit earth has made alien contact, we better get involved". The Guardians will decide earth needs a protector so GL will get involved, Atlantis will get nervous about some shit somehow so they will wanna go to war with the surface world so Aquaman will get involved. Martian Manhunter will (I'm assuming) want to gather a team of heroes to fight any future threats like the kryptonians. Batman will be suspicious as hell of Superman (and anyone else cuz that's how he is) so he'll wanna check that out. And then Lex Luthor will win over the people because he will be "rebuilding the metropolis superman helped destroy" so that's how he'll show up. And I'm sure Wonder Woman will come out of hiding after this alien invasion, because she realize she's needed and that Superman can't possibly do it all on his own. I for one am excited. People like to bitch (but they'll all go see it anyway). I know these characters, I don't need 5 more years of origin stories before a JLA movie. Bring it on. And I hope Jason Momoa ends up being Aquaman, I like that rumor.

I'm with you on that. I love Snyder, but I thought that Superman movie was dumb as hell. This looks like it will follow the same path, even though I know little about it.
