Keanu Reeves makes an explosive return to action-adventure in 47 Ronin. After a treacherous warlord kills their master and banishes their kind, 47 leaderless samurai vow to seek vengeance and restore honor to their people. Driven from their homes and dispersed across the land, this band of Ronin must seek the help of Kai (Reeves)—a half-breed they once rejected—as they fight their way across a savage world of mythic beasts, shape-shifting witchcraft and wondrous terrors. As this exiled, enslaved outcast becomes their most deadly weapon, he will transform into the hero who inspires this band of outnumbered rebels to seize eternity. Helmed by director Carl Rinsch (The Gift), 47 Ronin is produced by Scott Stuber (Ted, Identity Thief), Pamela Abdy (Identity Thief, upcoming Kill the Messenger) and Eric McLeod (Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Austin Powers series).

I'm always on the fence with movies like this. Looks like it will be full of action but most of the time it's full of talking.

the CG looks meh but the costumes and sets looks amazing. Plus I love the idea for this movie so I'm definitely in.

I can't get into CGI at all anymore. This movie looks to be on par with Man with the Iron Fist. A trailer so loaded with CGI, that I had no intent with watching it. This is no different.

The critics can go eat a dick on this one, this movie was much better than the reviews would lead you to believe. Some nice action, although some may feel it plods at times, very nice sets and costumes, I'm not anti-CG so that aspect was enjoyable for me too.

Can definitely understand where you're coming from there, gotta say though this was much better than Man with the Iron Fist, I couldn't even get through that movie.
