I hate how it's trendy nowadays to shoe-horn gimmicky pointless effects into classic films.
3D is okay for your CGI soaked Hollywood Blocbu$ter$, but fucking leave the classics alone! Die hard fans are going to hate it, and new fans who've never seen the film before will probably also hate it due to the old-school vibe and FX. There won't be any torture porn, CGI or jump scares to satisfy their hunger for the banal and the repetitive.
Plus, the money they've pissed away messing with it...
