weren't there different sized sentinels? i haven't seen that cartoon in moons, lol

Generally speaking the original Sentinels were all giants... later on and in alternate future timelines and shit there were other versions of the sentinels, like Nimrod, a super advanced sentinel from an alternate future timeline, who could change size and shape and even look like a human.

And now you know, and knowing is half the battle..

I liked the first two X-Men movies.. also used to watch the 90s cartoon when I was a kid. Not really into X-Men, though. The first Wolverine movie was just boring to me, and I never bothered checking out any of the others.

I'll probably get a lot of shit for saying so, but I liked X-Men First Class the best of all the movies.. It was really cool that they mixed it with real historical events and they did a very good job of it. I'd say it's worth checking out, if you get the chance.

The trailer didn't really do anything for me. Yuck another Wolverine centric X Men movie. I'm tired of him taking the spotlight in most X Men films.

This one may do better than the others, based on the fact that it brings back some of the crew from the trilogy, and presumably the hope that it's not completely catered around Wolverine.

I lost hope after X3 which was crap and The Wolverine which was just straight up blasphemy. But after First Class turned out so well and the wolverine sequel was actually good I'm starting to believe again. This one doesn't look bad at all. Hugh Jackman is STILL not my first choice for Wolverine but you gotta respect a guy whose played him like what 6 times? I know money talks, but most people wouldn't do that.

No Rogue in sequel according to Bryan Singer

Bryan Singer admitted in an interview with EW today that an entire X-Men: Days of Future Past action scene has been excised from the film. The scene was supposed to be some sort of rescue featuring Old Professor X, Old Magneto, Iceman, and Rogue. This is of some importance because it was the only scene to actually feature Anna Paquin's big return as Rogue.

From Singer:

It’s a really good sequence and it will probably end up on the DVD so people can see it. But like many things in the editing process, it was an embarrassment of riches and it was just one of the things that had to go. Unfortunately, it was the one and only sequence Anna Paquin was in, the Rogue character was in. Even though she’s in the materials and part of the process of making the film, she won’t appear in it.

I think this story gives us a sobering idea of what we can actually expect from X-Men: Days of Future Past. While the film boasts an impressive roster populated with two different X-Men movie eras, there's a serious downside to all those familiar faces since many of them probably won't be in the film that much.

I think the Rogue character was way over-used in X1 and X2. I also didn't like how they merged her story with Jubilee. I prefer the comic/cartoon Rogue from the 90s that focuses on her "Ms. Marvel" power era making her one of the strongest and most versatile X-men. Then again I'm an old curmudgeon...now get off my lawn

I'm excited for the flick. A little bummed Rogue won't be in it, but since she was more of a background player in X3, I don't think it'll be a great loss.

Personally, I think this looks amazing. I can't wait to see it.
X-Men 1 and 2 were great movies. 3 wasn't terrible, I kind of liked it, especially the Wolverine / Dark Phoenix ending.
Origins: Wolverine wasn't great, but it was a fun film to watch.
First Class was a great film.
The Wolverine is my favorite of the series so far.
Of course, I'm partial to Wolverine and I love Hugh Jackman in the role. You can tell he's into it and loves playing the character.

Bryan Singer is goin for the whole time travel aspect in this film to help fix the massive continuity issues with the first three films. This is also rumored to be Fox's second most expensive production to date. There are 25 mutants that are going to appear in this....Man i hope this is epic! Apocalypse is coming 2016 i am ready for the X Men to finally live up to the comics
