not a bad shot at all. Keeps you wanting to know whats going on with their partnership and how the case turns out. The bodies were really creepy as well. I'll definitely be tuning in next week. Kinda weird seeing a skinny Matthew Mcconaughey

Top notch premiere with a great casting combo and production. Really dug the atmosphere from beginning to end, and i'm sold on it already.

Great second episode, the characters are getting more and more interesting, particularly Rusty. The Daddario's were so divine it was bordering on obnoxious.

Agreed... although I find the pacing slow at times, that however tends to be offset by it's brooding atmosphere. love the show.

I knew the chick from Texas Chainsaw had a nice rack and was sad we didn't get to see them then, but that was....that was amazing. You know a chick is gorgeous naked when it stops you this day in age because we are so desensitized from seeing naked woman on TV and the internet now. But that made me feel like a little kid sneaking to see some hot playboy model naked all over again. Wow

Meanwhile, it seems that we'll be getting at least two more seasons, as HBO has signed a 2-year deal with the show's creator. Though, we won't likely see the return of either Woody or McConaughey. Apparently creator Nic Pizzolatto envisions the series similar to American Horror Story in which each season will offer a new set of characters and a new storyline.

This puts them in a rather awkward situation. If the next season doesn't have the star power of Harellson or McConaughey it will be a hard sell.

If they go that route I just hope they do a good job with giving closure unlike in AHS which is one of my major problems with that show thus far. As far as star power, this show does seem to be quickly generating interest and getting attention so hopefully that won't be an issue.
