Not to be confused with Jet Li's Fist of Legend, this is a recent South Korean action-drama from director Woo-Suk Kang that revolves around a group of old friends/troublemakers that find themselves on a popular reality show where they have to fight. The show basically finds people that grew up with tough guy/fighter reputations as teens and see if they still have what it takes as adults.
What makes this flick stand out is how it flashbacks to the past where these group of guys were friends, before they grew up and went their separate ways. We grow to get to know and really like them. In the end it's somewhat reminiscent of the 2011 film Warrior in that it mixed dramatic and emotional elements with this need to fight. In this case its between friends as opposed to brothers. This obviously isn't as powerful as that film, but what it tries to accomplish is similar.
Either way, the flick delivers some good fighting and character development, and despite its 2 1/2 hour running time it never gets boring. Definitely worth a look if you want a little drama with your action. 7/10
