I wouldn't say so. There are so many that lost faith in TWD and those that still enjoy it never put much faith into FTWD. I don't think either side of this series had high hopes for it and figured it would be mediocre at best. Is it a great show, no but the potential is there and I really like the way they are building it up while deconstructing society. I'll tap out if Travis becomes a zombie fighting superhero like Daryl.

I have not watched the original series, but my buddy made a good point.

If this is supposed to be a prequel series, won't it just end up being the same thing as the original series? The original series started around 2 months into the outbreak and this prequel series is already up to like Day 20. What's the point? lol

I would say good logic but who knows how fast it god bad in other places. FTWD is beyond day 20 and it really seems to be unraveling pretty fast at this point.
With the pace FTWD is displaying now I can see it being like TWD was when it started 2 months after. The city outside of the quarantine zone already looks it.

Of course.
If they decide to take it day by day, or every other day (time between episodes), they could get away with maybe three or four seasons before it really just becomes TWD.
But one thing to remember with TWD and FTWD, its not about creativity its about proper execution.

I'm not above ceding the possibility that you didn't enter this with a purposeful political trolling intent because there are few absolutes in the world and this wouldn't be one of them. At the very most you did, and for that you, by default, would be ceding any intellectual or moral high ground you may have had in the matter. At the very least it was poor judgement on your part to do so and you should have known better. The forward flowing discourse - or lack thereof is the result of either, and you really have nobody to blame but yourself for that.

I suggest that if you want to get your political funk on in the future... get it on in the Current Events threads.

Even when i requested or suggested you could simply move on from those two original sentences and we could completely ignore them, what'd you do? You continued to bring it up as a reason as to why you couldn't continue any of the conversation, because apparently you know my intent more than i do.
So yes, what a fucking shocker that it ended up being on my mind during our conversation.
What i ended up writing, is what it would have looked like (and ended up looking like) if i was attempting to hold that conversation with you or make those points to any further degree then a simple mention.

I just want to be dead clear on that. If i wanted to have that conversation with you, i would have done so without hesitation. No. I would have written exactly what you just replied to. A three to five paragraph, detailed, rant..... there would be zero ambiguity in my writing and i'd damn sure not suggest you drop it or suggest you're reading too far into it.

Im going to say this one last time because you don't seem to understand it. If i wanted this conversation to happen, it would not have happened this way, in the post you just responded to, that you only got because of your continued bullshit. Its something i would have said the first time around and then you know what? Had i done that, sure, you're little bullshit rant about me attempting some political message would be a valid one. As of now, its not.
Now, either address the rest of the post you decided to completely ignore because of two sentences, or fuck off.

You need to learn how to be more accepting of what people say.
If someone tells you "No, i did not mean it that way" or "no, i was not attempting to have a larger conversation", you should be more understanding and open to this. This whole thing could have been avoided had you simply done that. Had you simply took my word that what you were saying was not the conversation i was wanting to have. Im already looking forward to next season when we will see these militia's and leaders take control of different groups while there is still a relatively high population.

- Madison felt like she was just there in this episode, a spectator for Daniel
- Chris being a dick to Madison, with things going to shit, how long can grudges really last?

AMC has revealed new details about its upcoming airplane based web-series in the world of Fear The Walking Dead.

"Flight 462" will be the title of the 16-part in-flight zombie drama. The series will begin October 4, the night of Fear The Walking Dead's finale, and air as promos with each subsequent episode of The Walking Dead, which begins its sixth season the following week. Each episode will be less than a minute long.

Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462 tells the story of a group of passengers aboard a commercial airplane during the earliest moments of the outbreak. Over the course of the series, the plane and the lives of its passengers are put in jeopardy once they discover an infected traveler. The series is written by L. Signorino and Mike Zunic and directed by “Fear” director of photography Michael McDonough.

One character from Flight 462 will join the cast of Fear The Walking Dead in its second season next year.

“Flight 462 is a great extension of the world of Fear and will engage fans across multiple platforms with another riveting story set at the start of the fall of civilization,” said Joel Stillerman, president of original programming and development for AMC and SundanceTV. “We are thrilled to be collaborating with Dave Erickson and David Wiener on another piece of original content. Watching how they'll bring one of these new characters to the second season of Fear will be really exciting for viewers to follow.”

In Fear The Walking Dead's third episode, "The Dog," Nick (Frank Dillane) noticed a plane flying overhead. Perhaps it was Flight 462.

Fear The Walking Dead's first season finale airs this Sunday at 9 PM EST on AMC. The Walking Dead returns for its sixth season Sunday, October 11 on AMC.
