If you had a choice of controlling 1 horror franchise which would you choose?

and how would you do it? my choice would actually be Jason X. I'm a huge fan of Friday the 13th but there is a lot of room for a sci fi based slasher franchise. I would make the series more darker, remove the camp and the first sequel to Jason would be more bloody and gory. I would do a story about the government trying to clone Jason and create an army of mass produced weapons. Huge body count and the big finale would be a good Jason clone and bad clone having a fight to the death in an epic slasher beat down but they both end up dying that way I good clone wouldn't have be to brought up again in a sequel. You could do a movie where Jason is stuck on a planet colony where he isn't the only threat and have a few scenes where Jason kills some alien monsters as well as a bunch of humans

I would go with Halloween. 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 would go as is but in H20 I would want there to be an explanation as to why Laurie left Jamie behind but not her son. I would change the title of Ressurection to something a little more fitting where Laurie and her son go back to Haddonfield and Tommy comes to them with Jamie's child who is now around 10ish. I would have Michael make his return and kill Laurie's son and Tommy leaving a big fight between Laurie and Michael. Laurie could do something that would leave Michael with only a minute or so to live and out of nowhere Jamie's child would come and kill Laurie. After Michael dies the kid takes off Michael's mask and puts it on with the film ending and the series ending with that.

I would choose the Phantasm franchise so that we can get a Phantasm 5 while Angus Scrimm is still around.

I'd have to go with the Jason series. It is my favorite franchise and they are so much fun.

The Alien series, definitely. Instead of that crap Prometheus, I always imagined something much more cool exploring the origin of the xenomorphs. I was really pissed off at what we got.

That way potentially...

Freddy vs Jason vs Ash: Nightmare Warriors could be made into a movie.

Which was essentially the Avengers of the Slasher genre.

But they would need to bring back the original cast no matter how old they are now...

Then after that, keep the franchises so nobody else can make a thing from them unless they wanna cough up some good coin.
