That one looks good too. I'd say the biggest complaint I have with this film is

    Spoiler...
the fact that it's so stuck on the realism aspect of things that the dude never really fully transforms into a werewolf. At least not a werewolf in the traditional look and sense of the word. But aside from that he's definitely strong, fast, and acts like one when things kick into gear. I actually liked that it was mostly grounded in realism since it was a change of pace.

Wer is definitely on my watch list. Been so long in between good werewolf flicks that we actually have two of them out nearly the same time now. I was surprised at how much I liked Late Phases, it is a really well done werewolf movie!

Very interesting flick, and actually liked the angle that they decided to go with. Thought that a lot of the effects were nicely done, and the flick was fairly brutal in places. Liked it. Recommended.

That's because it went on demand in one of those countries, hence why the bootleg came out so soon from the regular release

I got the same version. It's not really a complicated movie, so the dialogue is not hard to follow, even with the subtitles.

Pretty meh movie overall. I see a lot of "realism" being thrown around and I don't see why. A moment in the film the "wer" jumped out of a, I think it was, 20 story window. It was also on live television and the CGI was insanely bad. This is not a realistic film whatsoever. They did well explaining why the virus takes shape, but still pretty meh overall. A very predictable, CGI driven Werewolf film. Nothing in this really stands out for this sub-genre.

Movie was awesome. It had a nice blend of CG/Practical effects. Pacing was good for the most part. Story was interesting and a nice twist on the werewolf subgenre. Overall, I'd give it an 8/10.

Superior horror film...period. Excellent from start to finish. I love it when a film on a low budget relies on good story telling, fine directing, and a cast of actors that deliver solid performances. WER has all 3 and a lot more.

The images in the film were disturbing at times as were almost all the kills. CGI was not overdone and didn't get in the way at all of the rest of the film. The writing was clever (especially the description the Mother gives in the hospital about the attack) and interesting. The directing was perfect IMO, there were some shots in this flick that will be in my memory for a long time if not forever... reminded me why I love horror films so much, more than any other genre.
I say thank you to all the people responsible for making this movie...was a nice ride. Cheers!

Yes! I watched this last week and very much enjoyed it. I think the low budget feel played out well. Go see it!

We hardly ever get good werewolf movies. Now we get two within a few months of each other and anyone outside of a fan of the genre knows anything about them. Yet studios continue to release mass-production garbage with no substance into theaters backed by huge ad campaigns. There are a few gems here and there but mostly it's all crap.

Wer and Late Phases are two excellent films that will more than appease horror/werewolf fans.

If Wer 2 is legit, I'm all for it!

All the comments here made me watch this last night, it was real good! I could nitpick a couple things but really, good werewolf films are so few and far between I wouldn't bother.
