What are some good films to watch for a modern day slasher film marathon?

I'm starting off with Scream then the film Valentine but I'm looking for at least two other good slasher flicks that aren't remakes. I own Hatchet and Behind the mask but I'm looking for stuff I haven't seen before. Any good ones with a decent body count? I've heard of the film Dark Ride and was thinking about adding that one.

I really liked Laid to Rest, Hatchet is a blast, Tucker and Dale isn't a slasher, more of a slasher spoof but it's hilarious, High Tension is amazing, I liked Wrong Turn 2 but that might just be because Henry Rollins goes all rambo in it.

I dug Venom since it was like a supernatural slasher. Aside from ones already mentioned I can't think of other modern "good" ones at the moment

Just watched the trailer for laid to rest it looks awesome! saw High tension years ago don't remember it much for the twist thanks for the ideas

Feast is a pretty good Monster/slasher flick, just don't watch the sequels.

Like Count says, great post-Scream slashers are a rare breed.

Although I'll echo Strt on Laid to Rest; one of my favourite post 2000 slashers with some excellent kills.

I hated Dark Ride. Such a shitty go-nowhere, dull, predictable film.

Dream Home is a good one, as is Bloody Reunion.

I didn't care much for Cold Prey. I've never bothered with the sequels. Part 2 is supposed to have a Halloween II vibe to it though due to it taking place in a hospital.

If you are gonna watch Laid to Rest u should also watch the sequel Chromeskull also the sleeper isnt terrible takes the house of the devil throwback feel but 80sthe slasher feel
also with christmas coming up you could watch the remakes of silent night and black christmas........tis the season for a red chistmas after all

I've decided to postpone the modern day slasher marathon till I'm able to get a few more slasher films that some of you have told me about. Instead I'm going to have a golden age slasher marathon tonight and do the other one in a few weeks when I get the time again and I'm watching a slasher film I have never seen before Hell Night!
