What If You Could Make A Horror Film?

Lets say you had an idea for a horror film and you were told you could pick the writer/producer/director and cast. Who would you choose and what would your film be about?

Here is what I would do.

    Title: The House of Whispers
    Writer: Stephen King
    Producer: Tim Burton
    Director: Darren Aronofsky

    STARRING
    Christian Bale as Jim Carlton
    Christina Ricci as Sarah Carlton
    Evanna Lynch as Elizabeth Carlton
    Dillon Freaser as Matthew Carlton
Hero Feinnes Tiffin as Jim Carlton Jr.
    Emma Watson as Martha Cole
Paul Dano as Fletcher Lewis (Paranormal Investigator)
Tom Felton as Peter Thompson (Paranormal Investigator)
Norman Reedus as Benny (The Cameraman)

In early 1950s London, a middle aged real estate tycoon named Jim Carlton was a very happy man. He had a wife, Sarah, and 2 boys, Matthew 14 and Jim Jr, 12 as well as a 17 year old daughter, Elizabeth. One night Jim Sr. is awoken and in a trance-like state went into the kitchen of his multimillion dollar mansion to retrieve a butcher knife where he killed his wife and then his children. He went back to sleep and was awoke the next morning by the police who were notified when their nanny showed up to discover the scene. Jim was covered in blood and was even holding the knife in his hand. He was brought to trial and sentenced to death. He claimed he never did it and that the house was haunted and he was possessed.

60 years later a team of paranormal experts led by a psychic, Martha have been given permission to investigate the mansion that had since been abandoned in order to get footage for a television show they were hoping to get running off the ground. The team spend a full day and then the full night in the mansion hoping to discover it's secrets but instead discover their own fates and tragic endings.
