Horror movies that you saw people walk out on

For some reason, I remember when I watch a horror or intense/disturbing movie in the cinema and see people walking out after a certain scene. For example:

The Sixth Sense (1999) - after the opening scene when the guy shot himself, I saw a couple walk out of the cinema (it was pretty funny)

Saw (2004) - for some reason, after the Shawnee Smith scene and the doll comes out on the tricycle, people couldn't handle it and I saw walkouts.

Wolf Creek (2005) - yep, the 'head on a stick' scene.. is when it became too much for some people.

I remember seeing my first horror movie ever, in the theaters with my dad. Dusk Til Dawn. A pretty large family all walked out during the bar scene, lol. And when I saw the Blair Witch, people were walking out left and right... I haven't seen anyone walk out of anything since the 90s, lol. I think we're more desensitized as a society, to blood and gore. Those Saw movies were the straws that snapped the camels back, I think

Went with a friend to see 28 Days Later a few years ago and around 20 people walked out within the first ten minutes. I don't think anyone expected the opening scene to be in an animal testing lab..

I remember seeing 28 Days Later in the cinema. I loved that opening scene. Perfectly set the tone they were going for.

That and movies got more expensive to go to.

28 Days plot: "A big-city newspaper columnist is forced to enter a drug and alcohol rehab center after ruining her sister's wedding and crashing a stolen limousine." - That sounds like a movie I would walk out on..

Scream. These people didn't walk out they were yelled at to the point they really had no choice but to leave. It was an 11pm showing and they had an infant with them. This baby wouldn't stop crying. It was a sold out show and EVERYONE was yelling at them to get the fuck out. They did the smart thing and left. Idiots

The only thing close would be The Cell, which I guess is sorta "horror" or at least has a lot of cross-over into that realm, for the Dreamscape-esque sequences inside the mind of a serial killer.

nothing that makes it to the theaters really has any blood or gore...of course with it not being CGI. Blair Witch is the only one I remember the theater only having 5 people left in it when the movie finished.

I paid to see a movie I am not going to walk out. Though I wanted to...to this day I still think Blair Witch is HORRIBLE!

Only movie I can think of at the moment was the latest Rambo. Although it's not horror it had a decent amount of gore. The guy did bring his four children that were five or younger. I'm guessing they wanted to leave.

The only movie I have seen people walk out on was The Others. But it was a group of stupid girls that screamed at every little thing...so no one really bummed about it.

Saw for me, too. I saw it at the theatre twice, and both times people walked out throughout.

I remember seeing the first Hostel and there were a lot of people who walked out. One girl screamed (i think it was the achillies heel bit) and ran out crying

Not horror but I saw Where the wild things are at a discount theater. Besides me and my friend there was only one family inside. While max runs around screaming in his wolf costume during the titles the dad shouts " What the Fuck is this?!?"

About a half hour into the movie the dad picks up his kids coats and tells them no more "Bullshit movies" and they left.

Paranormal Activity was another one...the first one....i wanted to walk out myself...but just continued munchin on my popcorn...which is why i go to the movies mostly
