    The Wolf's Hour

Deadline reports that Universal has purchased the rights to Robert McCammon's novel, The Wolf's Hour. The book focuses on a guy recruited by the Allies to kill Nazis, a job he's kind of well suited for since he's a werewolf. So if you're a Nazi and it happens to be a full moon, watch your ass. Otherwise, you should be okay.

Fast and Furious' Chris Morgan will produce along with Emile Gladstone. The script was written by Bradley and Kevin Marcus, a brother-brother, brother-father, or husband-husband team who actually optioned the book way back in 1989 and have been adapting it ever since.

Easily one of the best books I have ever read. Pulling this off will be difficult but I am open to it. McCammon is simply the best

There is also a book "The Hunter From The Woods" which is a collection of short stories involving Michael Gallatin, the protagonist from The Wolf's Hour which is also excellent. This book gives you more back story and also some instances that take place after The Wolf's Hour.

McCammon is the best horror writer to grace bookstore shelves IMO. The Wolf's Hour is just one of many incredible books he has written (Swan Song being my favorite book...ever).

There is absolutely no way the movie can hold a candle to the book, however if McCammon is allowing this he must have some good vibes towards it as none of his books have ever been put to film.

Anytime! I read this book a few times and it never gets old. McCammon has a little track record with Nazis as he has another book called The Night Boat. This book revolves around an old Nazi u-boat that was attacked and sunk to the bottom of the ocean off of one of the Caribbean islands.

The main character accidentally detonates an old WWII depth charge in present day (at the time 1980) and the Nazi sub rises to the surface. Of course the Nazi crew of the sub are brought back to life via some good old fashioned voodoo and they begin to wreak havoc on the island.

Zombies, voodoo, and McCammon's amazing writing make this book a must read!

I finally picked up the book at a used bookstore, because its a little difficult to find. Been wanting to read it forever. Now I really hope this movie doesn't fall through and happens.
