A Quiet Place Part II

Following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family (Emily Blunt, Millicent Simmonds, Noah Jupe) must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound are not the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

Couldn't get into the first one too much, so I don't have high hopes for this. Still though I'll probably see it with my AMC A-list card thingie.

I'll have to wait for DVD but I'm pretty excited for this.

I can’t wait for this movie to be released! After watching the first part, I was very impressed, the second, I hope, will not be less exciting

I still haven't seen the first one. Eh, I'll get around to it eventually, I'm sure.

Looks okay, I liked the first one until the glaring plotholes started popping up

(Why would they have a baby in a world where killer monsters attack anything with sound when a baby screams all the time? Why isn't their house sound-proof when they have loud generators? Why do they stay in the spot where they made the noise than to get away from it? Corn in corn silos is not like water and can't support a metal door with two children on it. Why don't the creatures attack the girl when she triggers the frequency for her hearing aid?)

I wouldn't have a problem with these glaring issues if the movie didn't try to have a realistic tone to it, which the first movie severely tries super hard to do.

I like the idea and would've preferred this sequel be with a different group of characters I liked that ambiguous ending

where you didn't know if the family made it out or not

but that ending's ruined and we're still following them around when we don't need to we've seen their story.

It's the same problem I have with The Last of Us: Part II, why go back to Joel and Ellie? Their story was perfect the way it was and how it ended, so why do we need to go back to them? Give me new characters and a new story to engage into.
