This horror/thriller stars Elijah Wood and John Cusack.
Tom Selznick (Elijah Wood) is a classical music pianist and is playing his first piece in five years. He gets to his venue in downtown Chicago (fuck yes) and begins to play his music. He is very nervous, due to the fact that the reason he hasn't played in five years is because he choked the last time he tried playing the "unplayable piece". Just when his nerves began to calm down a man named Clem (John Cusack) tells Tom that if he doesn't play every single note to perfection, that his wife Emma (Kerry Bishé) will be shot in the audience.
This is a very tense thriller and had my palms sweaty just by watching it. The acting by Elijah Wood and Cusack go without saying and the story was pretty cool. Sure it may have been done before with movies like Phone Booth, but this had a unique spin on an otherwise cliche premise. The cinematography is fantastic and I got to see Alex Winter in a movie besides Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure
So, with all of that, I'd give this an easy 7/10. Definitely worth a watch
