Anyone else notice "Zombi Fans! The wait if finally over!"?

Have we ever seen this in context like "Wan Fans!" or "Wingard Fans!"? Nope.
Because everyone knows their work is stellar and will sell itself.
It is as if they are insinuating unless you are a Zombi fan you won't like this garbage.
But fans of Zombi will rave about it just because.

What other movie is pitched such a way in any genre?

I'm sure those questions in the Q and A weren't hand picked by Zombi either

I can see why he does this...he advertises kind of like he would for his band I am assuming...this doesn't discourage me from seeing his stuff....him putting out turds the last few flicks does discourage... I understand a lot of people hate him. Outside of House 1k and DR he hasn't put out anything that has amazed me. I don't hate him as much as a lot of people do.

I have high hopes I liked the trailer...plus you know I love dem clowns! I know you hate the guy Mac so you like to pick him apart! I respect your opinions though. I have read your works which is why i have high hopes for you Novel!

all in all I am pulling for this to be good.. to kind of make us all step back and say "about time!"

What turns me off more than his shitty movies is his shitty attitude. God forbid you say something negative on any of his social media pages...your kicked off.
He has a high and mighty attitude for making shit? Even if he made the best pieces of cinema that still makes him a douche.
His movies suck, his attitude sucks, and I wouldn't even watch anything he makes for free.

One day he made a status about Lords of Salem asking people what they thought of the movie. I said that the first 30-40 minutes were good but after that it became kind of shitty. I went into minor detail, but gave my honest opinion. Next day I was blocked from his Facebook. Had a little "You've been blocked" message and everything. He's a real piece of shit, especially after seeing his Kickstarter rewards basically ripping off fans. Pay over 1000 dollars for a cross from House of 1K corpses signed by him? No thanks.

I think it's because he's been dealing with so much unneeded hatred from fans or horror fanatics that he just didn't want to deal with the heat of it anymore and he does want his work to have the best success it can get. To be honest, it seems some horror fans assumption for "constructive criticism" is the less sincere you are and the less honest and open the more no one will care to listen to what you have to say and if you were just a little less douche-baggy I would think he would be more than willing to accept negative criticism.

Even if RZ blocks people from his FB pages for his films, I doubt the man is anywhere nearly as worse as someone like Joe Castro who fucking sues anyone in sight to make his next shitty little horror movie like a fucking 5-part Terror Toons collection of movies and all he had to do was sue some fans he gave one of his props to and the Syfy Channel for showing everyone what a cunt he really was on public television.

You want to go even further? Paul Feig is a horribly dangerous director who disrespected his own audience with his Ghostbusters reboot calling them assholes, saying "fuck you" and joining in with his producer Amy Pascal to literally create a feminism vs women-haters vs ghostbusters fans in an unholy trinity of bullshit to use as a marketing device to sell a shitty comedy that's a 2 hour long movie that is about literally hating its core audience to audiences they openly humiliate and insult that if no one pays to see the movie they're haters and rapists of women, creating a much more hostile environment on the internet and abusing movie-going audiences, wasting the time, money and talent of everyone who worked on the project and making Sony look more desperate for a hit like a bunch of old men prostituting themselves.

Horror fans are always on the band wagon to gang rape RZ for cynical reasons or just making excuses to hate the man's work just because they just don't like him, at best his movies are a mixed bag that range from mediocre to awesome, he's an artist who genuinely loves making his movies and only shows respect to people who aren't judgmental or hostile towards him, I have yet to see him do something horrendous to abuse his position as a creative, clipping off negative people from his FB page is nothing really that horrible, I think it just depends on how you treat those around you with some shred of....-gasp-..."EMPATHY"...can we have that, please? For once? Just some empathy? It won't kill you!

Just tossing in my 2 cents but odds are someone who works for him probably runs the social media. It was a shit call to make and i can give plenty of examples of how scrubbing is a bad idea but he probably didnt block you.
