I cant remember the title of a movie

It was an old 70's - 80's film
There was a teacher(i think) who goes to visit a students home, then i think it starts raining so shes stuck there over night. It was a really trippy film. There eating burgers i think, but theres only cheese..? And when theyre showing her to her room there they walk by a room with the door open and theres a girl sittng there watching t.v and her mouth is sewn shut.. i cant really remember anything else but its haunted me for years. Please help!!!!

sounds like Twilight Zone the movie. Don't think the girls mouth was sewn shut though. Her brother "wished" her mouth away.

Yeah, sounds like Twilight Zone, only I think the thing with the burgers was they're dressed with peanut butter.

    "They're good that way."

...it's likely my favorite vignette because of how trippy it is. Plus, it was in heavy rotation on cable during my teen years and I was mesmerized by Kathleen Quinlan and how amazing that striped shirt made her boobs look:

...and then who could forget this part?!

...that puppet scared the crap out of me the first time I saw it in the theater. It's just wicked.

The segment from the movie was a spin from the original Twilight Zone series ep. entitled "It's a Good Life" with Billy Mumy, who wished people into the cornfield.

Definitely Twilight Zone. Also that's Bart Simpson with no mouth.
