Apparently there’s a new Italian anthology movie in the works entitled The Book, set to be directed by Lamberto Bava, Antonio Bido, Enzo G. Castellari, Luigi Cozzi, Alberto De Martino, Ruggero Deodato, Aldo Lado, Umberto Lenzi, Edoardo Margheriti, Sergio Martino, Sergio Stivaletti and Tonino Valerii. With music by Goblin.

AS for new Italian cinema though not Italian as such…I think the director actually might be but is an ex-pat in South America…you should consider checking out the upcoming release Sonno Profondo! I for one have pre-ordered it, looks amazing and got me all excited!

Yes, Sonno Profondo has been on my radar for quite sometime. I can't wait! One of my most anticipated releases of the year. The trailer is really really good. Giallo is back! "He is a stalker, he is a killer and he is a pervert!"
