Chloe Moretz says Kick Ass 3 is dead

She blames pirating for the movies failure for people not seeing it in theaters but I blame the movie not being very good for the reason why it did so poorly

I didn't even bother pirating this movie. I liked the first one, but a sequel just seemed unnecessary. If you make a quality product, people will go out of their way to support it. If there were a legitimate example of an actually good movie/album failing because of pirating I would see Chloe Moretz's side of the argument.. but recently I think that people in the movie industry are using pirating as an excuse for a bad movie not meeting it's ticket sales expectations.

    The sequel was pretty bad.

His main girlfriend in the first wasn't even in it besides, maybe, 30 seconds. They don't say a word about her. Plus they used a lot of CGI. Jim Carrey was the only saving grace. Besides that, one..big..fat..MEH.

Pirating had nothing to do with it. If a movie is good, people will pay to watch it.

Agreed with everyone--movie was a bit of a letdown and "pirating" is Hollywood's cop-out excuse for it.

LOL, I guess Guardians of the Galaxy employed some kind of anti-pirate sorcery and it's the only reason that film didn't fall to the same fate as Lame Ass 2.
