Happy October!! So excited to get into the festivities, which also means me binging on lots of horror movies. My friend recently hooked me up with a code for Shudder, which is where I've been able to access a lot of free movies and shows. It's really similar to Netflix, but only has horror/thriller stuff.

Just as a warning, Shudder is VERY hit or miss when it comes to its mobile app or the apps on consoles. Friend told me she downloaded it for her dad and all the movies skip. It seems like it buffers for 10-20 minutes, every few minutes of the film. I tried downloading it on my Xbox and it did the same thing to me.

She has it on her Xbox and has no problems, but looking at the reviews it seems that it's a pretty common occurrence. So, definitely try the free trial before purchasing this. Because while she has it and loves it, it was all screwy for me.

I've heard the app is pure trash. Haven't used it, myself. I just watch Shudder on my laptop hooked up to my tv.

Yeah I don't think I've watched Shudder on anything other than my computer, so I can't say anything about how it is on other platforms

It gave me trouble on my Xbox as well, but it works like a charm on my Roku. Some of the images on the main page take longer to load than they do on PC, but that's the only hiccup I've noticed.
