Loved it! This is the quirky, violent, funny, and downright crazy movie I have been waiting for. Reynolds is perfect here. The violence (much, much more violence than I thought there would be) with his oh well, ho-hum nature conflict with each other perfectly which gives this movie the totally WTF vibe it purposely aims for. This is a flick where you can give a lot away if you go in to deep whilst talking about it, but hey how many other movies do you have a talking cat (Mr. Whiskers) and dog (Bosco) that play to each side of the main character's persona??? Not to mention full conversations with a severed head!
And just in case this flick doesn't think it has you saying WHAT THE FUCK by the end...they throw in a musical number! I so want to talk about that...but if you watch this you will be glad I didn't. It's off the wall, maniacal gloriousness!
Instant cult classic!
9/10

I liked the flick. Definitely an interesting (and sometimes weird) dark comedy. I liked the two versions of reality too. No real complaints from me except that I thought there'd be a bit more violence to it. Aside from that it was an interesting look at the mind of a disturbed young man. I'll try to post a review sometime this weekend. Probably give it a 7/10
