Hopefully there is a single player aspect of it. Buying a game strictly for multiplayer is something I am not interested in for this type of game. An FPS type game, maybe, but not survival horror.

Agreed. I would enjoy this more as a solo game with a MP option. I also want a customizable camp counselor .

The NES F13 will end up being better.

This sounds too much like Evolve, only with Jason instead.

To be honest, this sounds like it should be a F2P game on an iPhone or Android. Cunningham said there would be a lot of replay value, but so far I can't justify spending $60+ for this. Only time will tell though.

Sounds like they are already trying to clone Evolve. I just don't see the F13th world being duplicated into a complex game of this nature. This game has "It will sell because of the title alone." written all over it.

Gamestop has the street date of this in August 2015. Doubt that is right but usually the place holder date is always December 31st of that same year so I guess it is possible.

I've been following a local company here recently in my home state of Kentucky, and they were working on a game called Summer Camp. Today they just now revealed to everyone that the game they have been working on all this time is the new Friday the 13th video game. Those clever dudes!

With Kane Hodder; Sean Cunningham, Tom Savini, and Harry Manfredini coming back for the music, they hope to bring this game to console and to PC next year, if possible, and are hoping for us to help them make our 80's slasher video game dreams come to life, now this is a game I can really get behind!

I'll probably pre order this, even if the game sucks. If it comes with physical merchandise and the game sucks, it will still be cool to have limited edition items. If the pre order doesn't come with anything, I'll wait for it to come down in price.

Sorry my man, I wasn't sure if there was or not. The company kind of sprung this on me, as I thought it would be the game Summer Camp, not Friday. haha

Anyways yeah, I hear you. Just because it's Friday, that alone is incentive for me, being a big fan since I was a kid.
They actually have a bunch of stuff involved with the Kickstarter, a lot of art book/steel book kind of stuff.

For some reason I didn't look at that Kickstarter earlier, but holy shit those are some great incentives. Going to do the 70 dollar edition to get a physical game definitely, and although I'll never spend the money..that signed copy with a machete signed by tom savini, sean cunningham, and kane hodder is super hard to pass up.
