2003's My Sassy Girl was the movie that started it all for me as far as loving Korean cinema goes. It had a great story, lots of laughs and some interesting characters. To this day it remains as one of my favorite movies of all time. I know few people here have seen it, but if you haven't yet I'd highly recommend it. If you'd like to know more about it check my old thread here: http://www.upcominghorrormovies.com/...irl-%282001%29

Anyway, if you have seen My Sassy Girl then it should prove interesting to know that apparently a sequel has been made. A Chinese/Korean joint venture, the sequel follows the lead dude from the first, who is now unfortunately separated with The Girl. Trying to mend his broken heart, he reunites with his childhood sweetheart—a Chinese girl often teased for her broken Korean played by Victoria Song of idol group f(x). Amidst opposition from both of their families and without much thought about what’s in store for them, the two tie the knot. The movie then follows them as they explore the ups and downs of married life.

Obviously a pointless sequel that kind of defeats the whole point of the first movie, but I'll give it a chance. I doubt it'll be nowhere near as good as its predecessor though.
