Grayson is dead and it's all but confirmed that Leto killed him. Here's a set photo of Dick's tombstone in a Wayne mausoleum

Maybe that set photo is a prank but I hope it's true because that would make the movie pretty dark. Way darker than Nolan's "boo hoo my bitch two-timing gf has died".

I don't think it's a prank. There are other photos from the Maousoleum and several websites have taken the pic down at the request of WB. Also, in the BvS trailer they give a very very strong hint that Batsy had a Robin who died at the hands of Joker. You see the Robin/Nightwing costume in display with Joker-ish spray painting on it, the news article with red also Joker-ish "you let your family die" writing on it. I'd say it's a pretty damn good guess that Joker killed Robin.

I wonder what the Will Smith, Suicide Squad rap song will sound like.

Well if it's Dick that is dead I say this movie can eat shit for all I care. Why would they not just make it Jason Todd? If they're trying to lead to a Red Hood story it doesn't make sense to use Dick since he doesnt have that vengeful personality like Todd did. Hell even in Frank Miller's TDKR (which this movie is obviously based on) Grayson is alive and Todd is dead.
Once again the makers of these movies just shit all over the source material that made the stories and characters popular.
EDIT:
I thought this was the BVS thread...SS is not based on TDKR, but my opinions on the matter still stand.

I forgot about the girl Robin rumor. I could see WB bypassing all previous Robins and go straight for Carrie Kelly; maybe even make Richard John Grayson her father. Either way, I'm not gonna not believe the original Robin is dead until I see this movie. WB had a bit of misdirection with the last Batman film; Cotillard had to swear up and down she was playing an original character and was not a villain.

Honestly I'd prefer a Damien Wayne or even Tim Drake. They both make better Robins than either Todd or Greyson. The girl from TDKR was basically just a plot device to try and connect Bruce with the "future." I never read any of the other female Robin so I don't know what she's all about, but it couldnt have been that good since I dont think she lasted a full year in the comics.

I think they are going with Grayson because he has his own ongoing now and from what I understand he's popular these days. Jena Malone looks almost exactly like Dark Knight Returns Robin. Why is everyone under the impression a Batman solo is going to be Under the Red Hood?
