Great "high school" flick from the 80's that never got the attention movies like Fast Times At Ridgemont High and Porky's did.
Dark flick (comedy) about a teenage kid (Jerry) that gets his ass in big trouble with the new kid in school, Buddy Revell, masterfully portrayed by Richard Tyson...who is known throughout the land for his psycho behavior in his last school. Jerry tries to talk to him and winds up pissing him off and is threatened into a fight at "Three O'clock" after school.
I loved every minute of this flick and really enjoyed re watching it for the first time in many years. IMO, it is one of the better comedies that came from the 80's that for some reason never got the big fame it deserves. Maybe Steven Spielberg pulling his name off the credits as Executive Producer at the last minute had something to do with it. Anyway, if you haven't seen this one you really should...it delivers a cool story brought home by some great performances, decent soundtrack, and unique camera work. 9/10
