    Meh! Too much CGI. Makes it look more Fantasy/Adventure than anything horror. Maybe I'll look into the original '67 version you mentioned.

    I only watched a bit of it because the torrent I d/l had awful Russian dubbing. The movie is in English, btw. It's a pretty looking movie just like something out of Hollywood except this is a Russian/Ukrainian/Czech production. They actually renamed it to Forbidden Empire - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1224378/.

    Yeah, the original is more of a horror movie and is only about an hour long.
