    I have wanted this movie forever! The book is great with a little bit of a ridiculous ending but man, when I heard years ago Yan de Bont was doing this flick I was pumped. It never happened.
    Now the film is back on the radar...BUT...it has Eli Roth attached as director

    Not etched in stone just yet, thus the "News and Rumors" forum.

    Roth's "brand" of horror does not suit this story at all. This is a strange and horrible choice if it ends up being true.

    I don't really see Roth doing it, for one the dude mainly likes to work on his own creative ideas not work based on someone else's and plus like others have said, it doesn't fit his style

    I liked the first two books, i never got to the others but if done right this movie could be awesome, instead of sharknados or flying sharks it would be good to see just a big damn shark
