    It looks okay, but the problem I have is they jampacked way too many scares into the trailer



    So either the movie is one cliched jump scare after the other, or the trailer just revealed all the good bits

    For some reason the 70's setting with haunted house/ghost flicks adds to the effect for me.

    I totally thought the movie was gonna suck since I hated the first, but I decided to give it a shot after all the positive reviews and it turned out surprisingly good. Like I said in an earlier post, a lot of the scares were spoiled in the trailer, but there were some good ones still left in it. The story was pretty good, along with the characters and performances. It's definitely one of the better mainstream flicks to come out lately. Liked it better than Lights Out. Will post a review soon

    Yup, I agree a suprisingly good movie. Good story and Flanagan has a nice little flair that shows he has a bright future in the genre.
