Naughty Dog appears to have accidentally confirmed the existence of The Last of Us 2 during a livestream focused on the upcoming Nathan Drake Collection.

What else is there to say about The Last of Us? I thought the story ended perfectly, even if I did have a bit of an interest as to what the follow up would be, it doesn't seem to leave that much room open for any surprises....

It is supposedly a parallel story with other survivors along with what happens with Joel and Ellie. I have complete faith in ND, with their track record how could I not??

This is good news since it's not just another re-release of a previous gen game with improved graphics. Also It'll be an exclusive for Sony so this is a good win for them, since I don't have a PS4 I'll have to wait for the PS5 version of Last of Us 2.

The simple idea of Last of Us 2 makes me want to all night long.

Well now this is my new most anticipated upcoming game. Loved the first game.

The first is the best game on many lists including my own. It is basically a masterpiece and this will follow suit as it is ND we are talking about.

They should really just adjust some of the graphics and call it The Walking Dead: The Ellen Page Chronicles.
The game would probably get more sales and we would have a second awesome walking dead game.

Wouldn't work since The Last of Us actually has good writing. No one would believe it was Walking Dead.

Everything TWD related that is not the tv show, has fantastic writing. The TT games, comics and novels are all amazing. It would really fit the trend quite well.
