    Rosemary's Baby is easily a "10" .... But it's not recent.

CITW, TRT, and the conjuring are probably my favorite horror movies in the last ten years-The maniac remake is up there as well.

    Ever
I would say The Thing, Return of the Living dead ,Maniac,Dawn, Halloween, and TCM might be the closest to 10's. I'm sure there more I can't think of right now

Orlok is correct (don't let that get to your head)! I dig watching foreign movies more than domestic films. They seem to push the limits in a not so stupid, scream teen kinda way!

Here's what it is, not to get too far off topic.
I used to own an Asian horror website and went over the differences between American and Asian movies over and over and over in my head. So, there seems to be an acceptance of reality that most foreign films seem to have. And ill say foreign, not just Asian, because ive noticed it with French, Italian and German movies as well. Its things that unless you analyze it, you're just noticing subconsciously. Like.... victims of rape is big in movies in general. While most American movies will have the actress focus on this and will probably write it as a big deal in the script, with an Asian movie you will be made aware that happened but its a quiet existence, it exists mostly internally with the character and is just a part of her.
Its the small things like this that make the difference. This is why we all knew Hollywood could not pull off Oldboy. Or A Tale of Two Sisters. There are just certain aspects of the real world that is rarely touched on in (serious) Hollywood movies.

The look is pretty different from how we had it but its basically the same site still except the new guy is doing a better job of making money on it (im assuming). When a friend and i owned it, we didnt make any money off it except for when we sold it.

Certainly no 10/10 type movies, however, these are what I remember most.

Nah, because this is a 10/10 topic and you arrogantly said we have to look at foreign films for good movies. So your original comment was arbitrary. Trying to sound smug about movies when you can't even name anything 10/10 from a different country. But whatever

I have tried apologising and putting him on ignore, but he persists in this campaign against me. Giving me infractions for no reason, thumbing down my posts and trolling me every chance he gets. I don't know what the guy's problem is.

I can just ignore it but it's annoying so I'm calling him out.

I know a lot of people gave the maniac remake a 10/10. I think I initially rated it a 8 or 9. High up for me are Audition (love the style of horror from Asia but I can't dig ghost stories so this was a great middle ground for me).
    Evil Dead 2
    Nightmare on Elm Street 3
M (some say horror others don't. Personally don't care).
    Cabin in the Woods
    Inside
    The Bad Seed
Rope (would be the only thing close to a 10/10)

I'm sure there are many I am missing but those are I'm the high 8 to 9 range for me. Don't think I've ever done a 10/10 rating.

Audition is only a 10 of 10 when you know nothing about the movie and then see it for the first time. You cant even read the synopsis.... cannot be aware that its anything but a romance movie.
