Look's like Netflix has yet another good show on there hands all episodes will be up on Nov 20th.

It's amazing that netflix and Marvel can take a 4th string character like Jessica Jones and make an interesting TV series. I hope this turns out good and helps expand the Marvel TV verse along with Daredevil S2 and eventually a Punisher.

Well Im a few episodes in, an as it sits I'm liking this more than Daredevil so far. Its seems as if Marvel took the Darker more Mature tone of DD and took it to the next level with this.There is far more swearing and sex on this Series.
Another difference that ive noticed, is they've made Numerous references to the Cinematic Universe. Specifically the first Avengers flick.The Hulk has been mentioned twice so far,an Cap once. where as DD made one passing reference to the Battle of New York in the Avengers, calling it the "Incident".
All and all Marvels Definitely got another winner on their hands. You can Definitely see the growth between Daredevil to Jessica Jones.
I cant wait to see when they tie Daredevil into this and how many seeds will be Planted for the Defenders team up.

This is like a dark psychological super hero series about the affects being a super hero can have on your mind and the consequences. It's about psychologically damaged people. There is a lot of slow building tension and Killgrave is downright terrifying. They are slowly building him up. In the few episodes I've seen you only get a passing glimpse and a few quick shots but you can feel his presence everywhere.

About 6 episode in and digging this. I like that is is dark and deals with a lot of serious issues but still has a sense of humor about itself.

5 eps in, decent show so far. I like how we see the effects of what happened in Avengers to regular people. More of a detective show than a superhero show so far and Killgrave seems a bit overpowered, but whatever. Luke Cage is also a waste right now, but he's getting his own show anyway so it doesn't really matter. Hopefully the action picks up soon.

Finished the season. Overall I liked it. It's nowhere near as good or as interesting as Daredevil, but it's entertaining enough. Kilgrave was a cool villain, but the writing wasn't strong enough to justify him lasting as long as he did. The writing in general just wasn't all that good and aside from Jessica I didn't really care for the other characters. Even Luke Cage was MEH, but then I don't know much about the character so I don't know if that's how he's supposed to be or if it's just the actor. The character just came off a little too emotionless and wooden. I'd give the show a low 7/10

I felt like the continuity was off on this. It seems as if Luke Cages story should have come first. The fight between Luke & Jessica was super weak for two Super Powered people. Overall the whole series felt like Marvel rushed it, just for the sake of "Diversity". Which is probably also the reason this came before Luke Cage.

I really only stuck through the first season for David Tennant. Looks like he may be in this season too, but not sure if it looks interesting enough to sit through. Punisher and Daredevil are so far the best Marvel shows on Netflix.

Finished up Season 2 this week and I ended up loving it. It had a slow start but really came together in the end. This is the least "comicy" of all Marvel's movies/series. Many of the characters arent even in the comics and thus you don't really know where the story is heading. The Killgrave scenes were fantastic and the psychological effects of JJ's life are handled very well. Overall I liked it and while not the brilliance of JJ Season 1, it was right up with DD Season 2 in terms of quality. Without getting into spoilers, the way they handled Jessica's trauma(s) makes me want a Moon Knight Netflix show more than ever. For anyone who doesn't know Moon Knight is basically Batman with severe mental issues and personalities that he has to deal with while he tries to fight crime.

I enjoyed it quite a bit as well. Not as good as season one in some ways, but in other ways, better. I felt the supporting characters and their sub-plots were more interesting this time around, which helped keep you invested and resulted in less of the usual middle-episodes lag that so many Netflix series suffer from. I liked that there was more interpersonal conflict this season as well, and liked that they really tested the bonds between Jessica and what few people she's allowed into her life. But, while I appreciated the twist involving the villain and the storyline which resulted from it, I don't feel the villain was as fascinating, or as infectiously watchable, as David Tennant in season 1 (speaking of whom, his brief reappearance this season was a lot of fun).

As for Ritter, she's still killing it as Jessica. I admit I wasn't fully on board when she was first cast. I'd seen Ritter in other stuff and was a fan, but nothing I'd seen her in made me think she would be a good fit for this part. Now I can't imagine anyone else playing it. You have to hand it to Marvel in that regard -- they've shown uncanny insight when it comes to their hero casting.

My only real complaint is that, as with JJ season 1 and The Defenders, the writers seem incapable of maintaining a consistent strength level for her. At various points in these shows she's fluctuated wildly from barely above human level to strong enough to catch a falling elevator with one hand. Make up your mind: Either she's so strong that she can go toe-to-toe with Luke Cage and stop a bus with her bare hands, or she's not very strong and can get knocked around by human-level opponents and KOed by a little redheaded chick with a baseball bat. She can't be both. But JJ season 2 has been the worst perpetrator of this inconsistency yet.

I agree, at the same time I think he's possibly the best villain in either comicbook Tv or movies and that's a tough act to follow.

Finished the season. It was alright. Interesting, but that's about it. The villain was kinda MEH, but the connection with Jessica was interesting. Aside from that it was a decent time waster and nowhere near as bad as Iron Fist, but it's still a weak season to an already sorta weak show.
