I was given the James Bond collection as an early Christmas present yesterday

It's really nice, the 23 blu ray discs come in three big cases first two cases have 10 discs a piece while the third one has three with a place holder for Spectre. I watched From Russia with Love last night and it has an amazing picture. So what are your top 10 James Bond films? I have been a big Bond fan since I was a kid in the 80s.

    This is my list

    Goldfinger
    Thunderball
    You Only Live Twice
    Live and Let Die
    The Spy Who Loved Me
    For Your Eyes Only
    The Living Daylights
    License to Kill
    Golden Eye
    Casino Royale

Not a huge James Bond fan. Only seen a handful of them.

    Of the ones I've seen:

    1. Goldeneye
    2. Moonraker
    3. Live and Let Die
    4. The Spy Who Loved Me
    5. Goldfinger
    6. Never Say Never Again
    7. Tomorrow Never Dies

One day I'll do a James Bond marathon and watch them all.

I've seen'em all since my dad was a fan, but I barely remember them nowadays. I personally prefer the newer ones since the action and stunts are more interesting.

Like, so many people out there were trying to track this down. And it just...got delivered on a tweet. What the hell.

So I've watched them all, here's my favourites:

    Connery - Dr No
Moore - The Spy Who Loved Me
    Dalton - Licence to Kill
    Brosnan - Goldeneye
    Craig - Skyfall

I like most of Connery and Moore. On Her Majesty's Secret Service is well made but apart from a few scenes it was a chore to sit though. Dalton's are good. Brosnan I love Goldeneye but the rest are mediocre (though still somewhat entertaining). Craig's are pretty boring except Skyfall. Most of them I liked, though.

Favourite Bond girls - Anya Amasova, Naomi, Xenia Onatopp, Natalya Simonova, Mary Goodnight

Favourite title songs - Goldfinger, Live and Let Die, The Spy Who Loved Me, A View to a Kill, Goldeneye, Moonraker, You Only Live Twice, For Your Eyes Only

Favourite Bond villains - Dr No, Blofeld (Donald Pleasance), Scaramanga, Jaws, Max Zorin, Raoul Silva, Baron Samedi, Nick Nack

    Bonds in Order

    1. Connery - The OG, plus I have a soft spot for 60s era filmmaking
    2. Brosnan - After Goldeneye, his films are all pretty bleh and interchangeable, but Goldeneye was a good movie, moreover greatest movie to game of all time
    3. Moore - His entries are all over the place, I suppose his entries offer more variety and set pieces, but some of them were victims of 70s era filmmaking I feel
    4. Dalton - He has his fair share of supporters and followers, his entries offer a bit more rogue and grit, I do find him a bore though
    5. Lazenby - Just kinda there to be honest
    6. Craig - Overrated, can't stand his films, they offer a bit more in terms of quality actors/actresses, but the trade off is too great for my liking

    Favorite Bond films

    1. Goldfinger - The essential Bond film, with a good villain (Goldfinger) and a great henchmen (Oddjob)
    2. From Russia With Love - The end fight with Robert Shaw alone makes this a great film
    3. Goldeneye - Brosnan's best Bond film, helped immensely by the equally/if not more popular game that came out two years later that follows it super closely
    4. Dr. No - A bit slow, but one of Connery's best entries, with a memorable climax
    5. Live and Let Die - Probably my favorite Moore film, felt pretty balanced
    6. Octopussy - Silly entry, but fun
    7. Thunderball - The underwater sequences bore many, but I thoroughly enjoy them
    8. Moonraker - Another silly willy entry
    9. The Spy Who Loved Me - A solid, grounded entry
    10. You Only Live Twice - Good set pieces, change of scenery make this a solid entry

It's hard to make a top 10 because most of them are pretty good but I would probably pick Goldeneye, Dr No, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, Goldfinger, Live and Let Die and From Russia With Love as well.
