(Hulu) Chance (2016)

I've been watching this new series called Chance starring Hugh Laurie recently and it's really good. Laurie plays a forensic neuro-psychiatrist, who falls for a patient and ultimately ends up getting mixed in with crooked cops and gangsters. It's good, but it's made great thanks to a completely badass character named "D," who helps the doc through all this mess. I'd recommend giving it a look if you're a fan of Hugh Laurie or just looking for a new crime drama

The 2nd season ended recently and it was actually better than the first. It's much darker and doesn't end like you'd think it'd end, which was a nice surprise. I still highly recommend this for someone looking for a new dark drama series

Yah, its a decent show i guess. Predictable and typical IMO. Exactly what you'd expect if someone at Hulu said "Hey i have an idea for a show thats a cross between Hannibal and Dexter".

I mean.... kinda.... like 6 out of 10 works.
I could get behind the ridiculousness of it if it was written better. Season 2 definitely stepped up its cinematography though, they got creative with angles and sync's.

Not to mention the American History X fat guy is horribly miscast. It does not even work as an anti-trope.

Doesn't fit the actors acting capabilities. Its like casting Samuel L Jackson as an old, wise, monk like jedi. Just doesn't mix.

Looks like the series is done with, as it wasn't renewed for another season. For the best; it ended pretty well, so I'm happy.
